7 different plans of a kitesurf trip to Peru

You want to come kitesurfing to Peru, and would like to take advantage of this long journey to visit this fairy land?

Here we give you 7 different awesome plans of a Peruvian Kitesurfing + visiting trip:

But before that, let’s talk about where you will probably land:

LIMA

Is it worth visiting Lima?

Most people ask me the question. “Lima la gris”, Lima the grey, constantly below a white homogenic sky is not really a very attractive city at first sight. However if you are open-minded and eager to discover new stuff and culture, there are actually some pretty cool things to do and see in the Peruvian capital city, like for example:

  • A FOOD TOUR: if you like food, Lima is one of the 3 top gastronomic cities in the world!
  • FIND CHAOS: chaotic traffic, huge anthill city, this is worth living it, and be happy leaving it.
  • VISIT BARRANCO: the cultural / hyspter place the best place to hang out, eat, drink...
  • TAKE COOKING LESSONS if you are willing to do a week immersion at least.
  • GO SHOPPING: at the Inka Market, in Dedalo artcraft shop in Barranco, make you a customized surfboard at Wayo Whilar local shaper, visit Gamara, the huge and anarchic textil area.
  • GO SURFING: La Herradura Surf Point is a must do for good surfers, or just la Costa Verde right in front Miraflores..or do 1 day surf trip to Punta Hermosa, 30-45 mn south to Lima.
  • SWIM WITH SEALS: a tour proposed on an little island in front of the capital
